The Best Offense Is a Good Defense
Wait, isn’t that backwards? The original line, often quoted by football coaches and armchair generals is, “the best defense is a good offense.” That’s true, at least in football and war, but poker is neither. Unlike coaching a football game or planning a military offensive, poker is personal, eye to eye, and sometimes the rules don’t mean a thing.
