Ex-Poker Club Owner Fined for Profiting From `Game of Chance’ (Bloomberg.com)

March 29 (Bloomberg) — The former co-owner of a private London poker club was fined 10,000 pounds ($19,500) today after a jury found him guilty of profiting from a game of chance in violation of Britain’s gambling laws.

Guard injured in another poker robbery (Saipan Tribune)

Another security guard was injured when three men staged an armed robbery at a poker arcade in Chalan Kanoa Tuesday morning. Department of Public Safety spokesperson Lei Ogumoro said yesterday that Fam Li, 46, a security guard, suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
