Stealing Blinds

Everyone has to pay the blinds. They’re the tax to sit at the table. For the most part, players realize this, and thus don’t fight too hard to protect their blinds. Due to this, you can win some quick small pots if you’re willing to steal the blinds.

New Record at the World Series of Poker

Yet another record has been broken at the 38th annual World Series of Poker this week when the last of the $1,500 No Limit Holdem events drew more than three thousand entrants. This marks it as the largest preliminary event ever at the WSOP, with a total record of 3,151. The previous record was set this year at the very first $1,500 No Limit Holdem event when 2,998 players competed…
