The inaugural World Series of Golf was a smashing success. It merged the wagering of No-Limit poker with the skill of golf. Players ante up, then bet, raise, call, check or fold on each shot. The object of the game is not to shoot the lowest golf score, but to get everyone’s chips.

Everest Poker Announces Avalanche Round 3 Winners for June (PRWeb)

On June 30, Everest Poker hosted a round 3 satellite for the forthcoming $1,000,000 guaranteed event, the Everest Poker Avalanche. 17 additional players from the poker room will be moving on to the Everest Poker Avalanche online finale, to be held on September 17th. CEO Poker Tour Day One a Success

At the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas a fourth major poker event has gotten underway, joining those taking place at the Rio, the Bellagio and Binions. This event, the CEO Poker Tour, drew 342 players for their first day of play, awarding $48,238 to Martin El Kher from Denmark as the winner. There will be No Limit Holdem events running every day through July 10th, when the Championship final table will take place…

The second installment of the Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker is soon going to start filming, and they need some subjects to film. Open casting for the poker based reality TV show will take place at Planet Hollywood July 5 through July 8, where casting managers will be looking for 12 poker players. These players will be living in a mansion while they compete for $2 million in a poker game…

2007 WSOP Event 50 - World Championship Pot Limit Omaha $10,000

Winner - Robert MizrachiPrize - $768,889Not only did Robert win the event and the jewelry that comes with it, but nobody can say that he managed this victory over token competition. He beat the stuffing out of a field of seasoned professionals. The most notable victim at the table was Doyle Brunson.

Tomorrow, July 6th, is the first day of the Dream Machine, the Big Dance, the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. Event 55, the $10,000 No Limit Holdem World Championship will run for about ten days and will change a lot more than ten lives.
