For the first time in years the World Series of Poker main event has not increased in attendance over the year before, now that the final numbers are in. With attendance hovering around 1,500 each of the four Day One days, estimates are in at around 6,000 for the event, compared to a capacity of 12,000 that Harrah’s was prepared for, and the actual numbers of 8,773 from last year.
