In October an independent survey was taken polling how Americans felt with the direction their government was taking with online poker, and the results of the poll suggest they are not very happy with it. The results, published by RT Strategies National Omnibus Poll and pointed to by the Poker Players Alliance, reveal that 51 percent oppose the government’s attempts over the last two years to ban online poker. The folks at online poker room Paddy Power Poker are the sponsors of the upcoming European poker festival, the Irish Poker Open, taking place in Dublin over Easter of next year.
