A little over a year ago, poker players everywhere were hoping for big changes when control of the American Congress was wrenched from politicians who preferred Jerry Falwell to Jerry Yang. Internet poker was an issue of moral turpitude as far as they were concerned. Of course nobody seemed to care that Mr. Yang has more evangelical street cred than anybody who spent their afternoons discussing earmarks over a lobbyist sponsored three martini lunch, but that is a point for another day.
