WSOP Voted a Top Sport in USA
When the market research firm Turnkey Sports & Entertainment took a poll of North American sporting preferences, they may not have expected poker to rank so high. The poll of 12,000 sports fans showed that, despite what the purists may think about poker not being a sport, these fans certainly consider it one. While the top ten sports were what might be expected, such as the PGA, NASCAR, the NHL, NBA and Major League Baseball and NFL grabbed the top two spots, the World Series of Poker presented by Milwaukee’s Best Light managed the 11th favorite spot.Related Articles:Poll shows opposition to US poker positionPoker pro goes to Washington…
