David Pham was already in the lead when it came to this year’s Card Player Magazine Player of the Year race, but he held his lead by only 300 points over his closest threat, Jonathan Little. Poker players use various companies to fund their poker accounts, and the number of available options seem to be dropping every few months or so. The latest casualty is PayTrue, as their customers got an email telling them that at some online poker rooms they won’t be able to use their PayTrue VisaDebit card anymore. Poker requires domination for success. You cannot be a submissive player and expect to win. If you defer to the other players, you will lose your chips, no matter how good your cards are. Without a forceful and agressive personality, the best hands are still trash. If you want to win, you have to become a power man.

It was a long time coming.
