One Million Poker Players for PurePlay

A recent announcement from poker company PurePlay puts their poker players up at one million players, a record for the company. Also according to the report, PurePlay has given away $3 Million in cash to their players, more, they say, than any other non gambling poker site. Poker Lawsuit Called into Question

The company that has been putting so many poker dealers out of work is facing their own financial challenge, thanks to a lawsuit from a rival company. PokerTek, which manufactures poker tables that run games without the benefit of dealers, thanks to advanced AI poker software and touch screen terminals, has become the target of a lawsuit from Lighting Poker, which is suing on the basis of patent infringement. PokerTek has responded to the lawsuit by saying they believe their product does not violate any patent, held by Lighting Poker or otherwise…

Go Easy on Fancy Play

You know how to raise from the button holding a monster because you know the experienced players in the blinds will assume you are making a standard button bluff.
