Court to rule on poker machines (Bendigo Advertiser)

THE Supreme Court has reserved its decision on whether an injection of poker machines into the central Victorian town of Romsey goes ahead. The Macedon Ranges Shire has fought the Romsey Hotel’s decision to install 30 electronic gaming machines.

WHEELING — The state’s racetracks are cashing in on poker. According to the West Virginia Lottery Commission, from Oct. 20 through Nov. 17, Mountaineer Casino Resort and Racetrack in Chester earned $711,352 in poker revenue alone.
